I don't mind the $5. Afterall, having been a gamer for only about seven years, there are many, many games that I most likely have missed out on. The fact that I can download them at any time instead of having to track it down to some run down game store that I've never heard of is, even better. I don't think it would be ok for the games to just be given away for free like that, as that would be bad for business. Let's not forget that at one point these games would have cost 30 or more dollars...

why is everyone so upset? Who in the world goes and spends 600 dollars just to play their ps2 games, isn't that what the ps2 is for? I thought people were supposed to get a PS3 to PLAY PS3 games. The fact that it can play anything else is just a cool add-on, not a critical must-have. I would laugh at the idiot that decided he would get ps3 just for that.

it still doesn't offer up the kind of next gen graphical experience that the other 2 do, aside from the controller and all. Sorry if that makes anyone mad, but I need true next gen grahics while playing, and nintendo just didn't deliver.

His points are all good and true, the ps3 does cost too much for the average consumer at this point, and the average consumer, not the crazy gamer is who matters the most, and will determine whether the console fails or succeeds. this could be the GOW of ps3. Those screens look amazing, dare I say better than GOW. No surpise of course, it's using the same engine and all, but I'm still just shocked.
I think that if used correctly, motion sensing is better than rumble. rumble was good, but it was hardly ever necessary, or for that matter, even noticable. I'll be ok with them replacing it with sensing, but only if it's use creatively. As it stands right now, I haven't seen but a couple of games use it in any creative way. We'll have to wait and see how well, or not, it is implemented in future games.
These aren't new at all, I've seen them at least a month ago. And why are people criticizing the graphics? I think they look quite impressive, the lighting looks good, and the overall detail seems to be quite impressive. All this, and the game is still in it's early stages.

I agree with supersaiyan4, FNR3 had great visuals sure, but I think it should have been clear to anyone that GOW definitely has had the best graphics of any game thus far.
that's nice, but the truth is, that shouldn't be a problem with any next-gen games, yet so many are plagued by considerable load times *I'm looking at you in particular Sonic*
